  • Understanding what is present on-site, prior to any further time or budget being spent, is a major key to ensuring the most environmentally friendly and cost effective routes are taken. We'll assess your site, leveraging our wide range of experience, offering you a cost effective way to make informed decisions.

  • Our values and impacts assessments are based on the Environmental Institute of Australia and New Zealand guidelines. Combining methodologies from the NPS-IB and NPS-FM we will create you thorough and unique deliverables to attach to your consent application.

  • Many large projects are best delivered through the combination of great minds.

    Restore NZ will help guide who you need involved in your consent, and manage the administration of balancing field seasons, contractor schedules, and project timelines to pull together gold standard deliverables.

  • We have a range of experience and DOC issued qualifications in house regarding the survey and management of native fauna. Whether its fish passage assessment, bat roosts, birds nests or native lizards, we intend to achieve positive benefits to biodiversity across all our projects. If a project is contentious or particularly specialised, we can work in with relevant experts to ensure what we deliver is gold standard.

  • To offset the impact of your projects we will work in with you to find areas with high potential for enhancement. We'll design, quantify and monitor your offset - ensuring your budget is utilised in the most effective and environmentally beneficially way.

  • Comprehensive GIS mapping is a key tool we use to clarify the statements in our reports. We are exceptionally good at GIS and actively seek ways to further streamline consents by packing vast quantities of information into easily interpreted map formats.

  • We'll assess the habitats present on your site and the ecological value they provide.

    Knowing what is present in a robust and quantifiable way is imperative to convey your project is operating within best practice standards.

  • If your consent is granted with monitoring conditions, we can create your monitoring regimes and implement them.

    We use a range of techniques to minimise ongoing costs associated with monitoring, leveraging off of cutting edge technology such as drone imagery and GIS mapping.

  • If an ecologist is required for sign off, salvage or overseeing works we'll be right there to help. We have experience on some major infrastructure projects across NZ and are well versed in health and safety when working around live machinery.

  • Often areas can serve a duel function and we'll work in with design teams and project management to find overlap in what must be included and what was already in the design wish list.
